Exam Preparation Classes
These classes are designed to help you study for and pass the State Electrical Journeyman, Master, or Maintenance Exam to get your electrical license.
Estimating Class
5-Day Course – Designed to teach novice estimators sound principles and proven methodologies of hands-on professional estimating. This intensive course will set students on the path to becoming more proficient and productive estimators by focusing on estimating techniques that emphasize accuracy and detail during takeoff. In addition to being taught hands-on techniques for counting and measuring materials during the takeoff phase, students will be shown how to organize those takeoffs into logical and functional breakdowns, setting the stage for proper bid review, material co-ordination, scheduling, and effective project management.
Motor Control- Fundamentals of PLC's
Cost $368.00 for Members
$420.00 for Non- Members
Fundamentals of PLC’s provides an overview, discussion and practical application of PLC equipment and programming. The course is appropriate for electricians or other electrical technicians who have experience with and a good understanding of motor control concepts and who wish to learn how to apply, program and trouble shoot Programmable Logic Controllers. It is strongly recommended that the IEC Level I Motor Controls or similar course is completed before attempting this course.
