Professional Electricians Program
The PEP program is designed for those electricians with five or more years of working experience but who have little or no classroom training in electrical theory and National Electrical Code. This program is designed to supplement field experience with formal classroom training. Documentation of five years working history is required at registration. The PEP is a three year program consisting of four (6) semesters. The PEP program is recognized by contractors across the country. A National IEC certificate is issued upon successful completion.
FIRST YEAR
Theory and Code, motors and transformers.
SECOND YEAR
Controls, project planning and layout using construction documents and leadership.
THIRD YEAR
Grounding, print reading & basic motor control
